Jen retreated into her mind as she and Gibbs ascended in the elevator together. They had just had a very large, very public argument and she had to admit that she hated it when they fought; pity they were so good at it. It seemed that was all they did. Come to think of it, it was all they had ever done. It was probably due to the sexual tension that surrounded them. Anyone who saw them together could feel it, the only person who couldn't (or wouldn't) was Gibbs. It had always been there since the moment that she had been assigned to his team all those years ago. It seemed completely natural when they became lovers. The heat they had in the bedroom only match the heat with which they argued. The judder of the elevator stopping brought her back to the present. She turned to Gibbs and looked questioningly at him.
"You know something?" He asked.
"What?"
"I don't like it when we fight Jen, especially in public." She looked up at him in surprise. "What?!" He asked, "I don't." She stifled a laugh and rolled her eyes at him.
"Then why do we do nothing but fight?" She asked, making sure to keep the amusement in her voice and the bitterness out.
"I don't know, maybe something to do with the large amount of sexual tension that we have." He replied, blue eyes twinkling in the half-light of the stopped elevator. She looked at him and raised an eyebrow in question.
"You didn't think I noticed did you?" Gibbs asked amused as she gaped at him in shock. He turned to her and she almost jumped at the look in his eyes. She had only seen that look a couple of times, very long ago. It was the look of a hungry lion about to pounce and devour. He slowly moved closer to her, too close for her self control, and she tried to get her racing heart under control by taking a deep breath Big Mistake. She breathed in the scent of Jethro that she tried everyday to forget how much she missed. Somewhere between the sawdust and coffee there was an underlying scent of masculinity which constantly barraged her senses. He seemed to sense she was trying to control herself and he grinned and moved even closer, his face was inches from hers.
"Maybe we should do something about it?" He whispered, causing her to shiver slightly. She had thought that she had forgotten what it felt like to be this close to him but the moment his hand brushed up her arm all the memories of
"Jen lets not fight anymore." He whispered again. His mouth traced kisses along her jaw line, to that sensitive spot just below her ear. He pulled his head away and looked at her.
"What are you doing to me Jethro?" She asked.
"Trying to get you to realize that we are better together than apart." His mouth came crashing down on hers with a low groan and for a second she froze, unaware of what to do. Instincts kicked in and she granted his tongue the permission it was seeking. Just as she was getting used to kissing him again, he pulled away and she frowned and bit her bottom lip. He cocked his head and grinned at her.
"Christ Jen." He rubbed his hand over his face. "I can't believe I forgot how good that feels." She laughed and used his shirt to pull him to her again.
"I can't believe you forgot either Jethro," She breathed inches from his lips. His mouth claimed hers yet again and he pusher her harder against the wall. Ignoring his desire he gently pushed away from her.
"We can't do this here Jen, the Director can't be caught in a compromising position with one of her agents in an elevator." She silently cursed his common sense and nodded dumbly at him as she straightened her blouse.
"Come and see me later?" She asked suggestively as the doors opened, he stared hungrily at her retreating back.

"Hold my calls." Jen barked the order at Cynthia as she swept past and into her office. She headed straight for the drinks cabinet and poured herself a large measure of bourbon. She downed the glass in one gulp and smiled as the amber liquid warmed her insides. She sat down on the couch and immediately jumped up, she paced her office, far too frustrated to sit. The sensation of Jethro's hands on her skin made her agitated, she wasn't meant to feel like this any more, but the moment he touched her all the memories and feelings she thought had been forgotten came flooding back. However, she couldn't deny that she the only time she felt alive was when his hands were on her. She absentmindedly brushed her fingers over her lips and smiled to herself.

"Boss." Tony shouted over the bullpen, he looked immensely pleased with himself, "We've got something." Gibbs looked at him expectantly.
"You waiting for a drum roll DiNozzo?"
"Sorry Boss, we...well, I found Webster." He ignored the angry, indignant looks from the rest of the team and hurriedly carried on. "He's at a small motel just the other side of
"Well...go get him, I've got to see the Director, call me when your back."
"You not coming Boss...right, sorry boss, see you later." Tony and Ziva grabbed their bags and hurried towards the elevators. Gibbs was halfway up the stairs as his cell phone rang.
"Gibbs," He snapped down the phone, "I'm on my way." He sighed as he placed his phone back in his pocket; he looked longingly at Jens office door and descended the stairs.

Jen drummed her fingers on her desk. She was sure that her offer had not fallen on deaf ears, so why was it taking Gibbs so long to come and see her. At this rate she was quite likely to grab the first male agent that walked past her office and have her wicked way with them, ok that was a little bit extreme, but she was just about ready to burst.
---
Gibbs sighed for the 20th time already that day and the elevators opened and Abby's music blared out of her lab. He really needed to go see Jen. His stomach clench when he thought of her, he needed to give her a good seeing to or he could not be held accountable for his actions.
"Gibbs!" Abby squealed as he walked through the doors, "What? No Caf-Pow?" She asked. He mentally slapped himself; she would know something was bothering him if he didn't have a Caf-Pow with her, as if on cue, Abby looked at him.
"Did you have another fight with the Director?" She asked, Gibbs just raised his eyebrows at her, silently pleading her not to mention Jen again before he had taken care of business, "Right...sorry, wont ask. Anyway, I checked the striation marks of the bullet used to kill Corporal Willis, and guess what?" She bounced excitedly.
"You're one day going to get straight to the point?" He guessed. She looked disappointedly at him and shook her head.
"No...the same weapon was used in an unsolved murder in

Jen jumped slightly as Gibbs burst through her office door. Without exchanging pleasantries, Gibbs marched over to Jen, pulled her from her chair and covered her mouth with his. Her hands wound into his hair as his pulled her blouse out of her waistband. Her breath hitched as his fingers grazed her side and he dragged them up and around to her back. His hands went to her underarms and lifted her up to her desk. She wrapped her legs around his waist and tried to pull him closer. Her hands found their way to the buckle on his belt and gave it a gentle tug to let him know exactly where she wanted this to go.
"God Jethro, I need you." She whispered and he grinned down at her.
"You just have to ask Jen." He whispered back and then groaned as his cell phone rang once again. "Gibbs...fine." He snapped the phone shut. He looked at Jen and nearly took her there and then on the desk but he kissed her on the forehead,
"I'll be back." He whispered and swept out of the door.

"What Ducky?" Gibbs barked as he entered Autopsy. Ducky whipped around in his chair and stared at him. Gibbs took a sip of the coffee he had managed to grab on his way down.
"Long day Duck," He said in a way of an apology, "What have you got for me?" Ducky seemed to accept his explanation for his irritation and proceeded to tell Gibbs his findings.
"Well Jethro, as you can see, Willis was shot, at close range, straight into the chest cavity, he was leaning against something as you can see from the exit wound...it's quite interesting actually, reminds me of..." Gibbs's mind wandered as Ducky continued to talk. He heard his cell phone ring again and irritatedly pulled it out of his pocket.
"Gibbs."
"I am dying up here Jethro." The sultry voice of Jen reached his ear and he nearly dropped the phone into the chest cavity of Corporal Willis.
"There is nothing I can do about it right now Director." Gibbs answered and he heard Jen chuckle. He hoped that she knew he was busy.
"I know, but there is something I can do whilst I wait for you..." She trailed off, leaving just what she was talking about to Gibbs's imagination. He gripped the phone harder as she continued to tell him just exactly she was going to do to him when he finally reached her office. He snapped the phone shut and practically ran out of Autopsy.
"Jethro?" He ignored the confused voice of Ducky calling after him.
---
Jen chuckled to herself, she knew that was cruel, but she needed him here right now. Speak of the devil and he appears. Gibbs burst through the door, however, this time he didn't pull her to him, he stood looking at her with daggers in his eyes.
"That was cruel Jen." He said, his eyes flashing dangerously. She slowly walked up to him and ran her hands gently down his chest.
"I couldn't resist Jethro." She replied and she loosened his tie. She walked backwards and pulled him with her till her back was against the back wall of the office, all the while never taking her eyes off him. Gibbs stood still trying to ignore the throbbing in his pants, trying to teach her a lesson. His resolved weakened and he groaned as her hands reached his waistband and he pulled her roughly to him. Passion clouded his vision and he wrenched her blouse open, buttons flew in all directions as she looked at him amazed. His hands slid up and down her ribs, grazing the side of her breasts. He pushed her against the wall and hitched her skirt up her thighs. Jen fumbled with the buttons of his shirt and pushed it off his shoulders, his lips left hers for a second whilst he freed himself of it. The touch of his skin against hers bought memories flooding back to her and she groaned as his hand moved down her stomach and caressed her inner thigh.
"Jethro please." She begged as he pushed her panties down and pushed his boxers off his hips. He lifted her up and she wrapped her legs around him and lowered herself onto him and they began to move as one, instinctively remembering what thrilled the other. She raked her fingers down his back as his mouth continued its onslaught on her neck. As their rhythm became faster she clutched at his shoulders, a gentle moan escaping her lips as she felt her body clench and release in pleasure. She heard him gasp her name as he followed her over the edge. After a few minutes of sated numbness, Gibbs set her back on her feet. She looked at him with bruised lips and lust filled eyes.
"I can't believe you broke my blouse." She said. He laughed and pulled her against her chest. She wrapped her arms around him and couldn't help feeling that she belonged there, with her head tucked under his chin. He kissed the top of her head.
"Lets not fight anymore." She said and he pulled away and kissed her deeply.
"But its such fun making up."
